The Pooh Trail is a walk of about 6 miles, from Hartfield village to the Pooh Sticks Bridge, and round in a circle back to Hartfield. There are 20 caches of various sizes, 3 of which are bigger boxes for your swaps. The terrain is varied, with several hills and quite a few stiles. Some bits may be muddy in winter. If you wish to only do part of the walk, there is a narrow footpath by the road, from after #12, all the way back to Hartfield, but the road is quite busy, so this may not be suitable for young children.
There is plenty of room for street parking in Hartfield, and anywhere along the main street will do. There are several refreshment places at the start and finish of the walk, but none on the way round.
Have fun, enjoy the walk, and you might even see Pooh and some of his friends along the way!
