Päiväkumpu on Suomen Lähetysseuran kurssikeskus.
Päiväkummussa järjestetään runsaasti kristillisiä kursseja ja tapahtumia. Sillä on jo pitkä historia kurssikeskuksena ja se on tullut tutuksi lukuisille suomalaisille ja kansainvälisille vieraille vuosikymmenien kuluessa.
Alun perin paikka oli Längelmäen seurakunnan pappila. Kirkko on vesistön toisella puolella. Pappilan päärakennus on purettu ja paikka näyttää nykyään hyvin uudenaikaiselta. Päiväkummun kuuluisa pieni kirkko on entinen riihi.
Päiväkumpu is a course center of TheFinnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (FELM).
The FELM arranges a number of Christian courses, events and activities in Päiväkumpu. It has a long history as a course center and has become familiar to numerous Finns and international guests throughout decades.
The place was originally the rectory of the Längelmäki parish whose church lies on the other side of the waterway. The main building of the rectory has been torn down and the place looks quite modern nowadays. The famous chappel of the center was originally a drying barn.
