Geocache Description:

Farnham railway station serves the town of Farnham in Surrey, England. It is located on Station Hill by the level crossing that carries the Alton Line across the B3001 secondary road. The town centre is about ten minutes away on foot to the north of the A31 Farnham Bypass via a signal-controlled crossing.

I regularly have my break at Farnham after driving a train down from London Waterloo and I thought it would be good to have a cache here that can be easily found and maintained.

You are looking for a small 'Bison Tube' type container that contains a logbook only so bring your own pen. A pair of tweezers may help as well.

Please replace the container as found and do not remove its fixing. The logbook can be removed and replaced simply by unscrewing.

Parking is available very close to the Geozone.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, the journey or location, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or "copy and paste" logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
