Geocache Description:

Borders have fallen. There are no check ups at the border crossing. But have the borders really fallen in our minds? Let’s check it out on Tromeja, Dreiländereck or Tre confine. We all live so close and have the same passion. Geocaching.

So let’s meet with our TBs and exchange them, meet new people and make new friends. The meeting point will be on mount Peč http://sl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pe%C4%8D_%28gora%29 , Offen http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreil%C3%A4ndereck_%28Berg%29 or Monte Forno http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monte_Forno_%28Caravanche%29 at 12:00 o’clock on Saturday 29^th of June 2013. Bring as many TBs as possible. In case of bad weather, we shall postpone the event on 6^nd of July.

How long does it take to get to Peč, Offen, Forno? Where do we start?

There are many ways and paths. From the bottom (Arnoldstein- Selschach, Fusine Laghi- Jalen, Korensko sedlo / Wurzenpass or Rateče) it will take you about 2 hours. But you can cheat a little bit. You can take cable car from Austrian side http://www.3laendereck.at or forest road from Slovenian (Rateče) or Italian side (Fusine in Val Romana). All three options won’t take you to the top. You can also come by bike.
