La scogliera di Caorle è una delle più belle passeggiate sull'Alto Adriatico. L'immagine del centro storico di Caorle da un lato, ed il mare dall'altro, rappresentano una veduta tra più suggestive, arricchita, al termine della diga, dall'antica ed affascinante chiesa della Madonna dell'Angelo.
Su questa passeggiata, dal 1993, il Comune di Caorle ha ideato il Premio Internazionale "Scogliera Viva", un simposio di scultura biennale al quale hanno partecipato, negli anni, numerosi scultori di fama internazionale.
Il risultato è una singolare galleria di sculture ricavate dai blocchi di trachite euganea posti a difesa del centro storico dai flutti del mare che accompagnano il visitatore in un itinerario suggestivo, un museo all'aperto, lungo il quale si possono ammirare insolite opere d'arte.
Grazie a questa apprezzata manifestazione, l'artista regala la vita ad un masso, sprigionandone le forme che ci rimandano al mondo animale, all'uomo, all'amore, alla metafisica, attribuendo così nuovi significati ad una scogliera voluta inizialmente solo come difesa dalla forza del mare.
La cache è di dimensioni small, ben camuffata, e all'interno troverete solo il logbook, portatevi una penna e buona caccia!
The coastline walk along the reefs of Caorle, is among the most beautiful of the Upper Adriatic area. The image of the historic centre on one side of the town, with the sea on the other, forms one of the most evocative sights you can experience, and is enhanced by the old, fascinating church, the Madonna dell'Angelo, which lies at the end of the embankment. Scogliera Viva", international competition along this promenade, a biennial symposium of sculptures, in which numerous international famous sculptors have taken part over the years. The result is a unique sculpture gallery, carved from the Euganean trachyte rocks, which were placed to defend the historic centre from the sea waves that accompany the visitor in a visually striking itinerary. It is an open-air museum along which unusual works of art can be admired.

Einer der schönsten Spaziergänge, die man am adriatischen Meer machen kann, verläuft entlang der Klippen von Caorle. Einerseits sieht man die Altstadt von Caorle und andererseits das Meer. Dieser faszinierende Eindruck wird am Ende des Deiches durch die schöne, antike Kirche der Madonna dell'Angelo (Madonna des Engels) bereichert.
Seit dem Jahr 1993 organisiert die Gemeinde Caorle den internationalen Preis "Scogliera Viva" (lebende Klippen). Dieses, jedes zweite Jahr stattfindende, Symposium der Skulptur, an dem in den vergangenen Jahren zahlreiche, weltberühmte Bildhauer teilgenommen haben, basiert auf diesem Spaziergang.
Das Ergebnis ist eine einzigartige Ausstellung von Skulpturen aus eugenischen Trachitblöcken, die die Altstadt vor den Meereswellen schützen. Sie begleiten den Besucher bei seinem beeindruckenden Spaziergang und erlauben es ihm, ungewöhnliche Kunstwerke im Museum unter freiem Himmel, zu bewundern.
