If you're approaching by car -you should enter through Venice (Venetsia). (gondol is not required however.)
Nykyisen ison montun paikalla oli ennenvanhaan iso soraharju. Harju ei enää humise, mutta sen homman hoitaa nelostie. Tältä paikalta näet Lahden taivaanrannan profiilia hallitsevat maamerkit kerralla - uutta Luhdan tornitaloa lukuunottamatta.
Viewing from this point one can see the land marks dominating Lahti's skyline all at once. (All but the new Luhta tower)
