Geocache Description:


St. Thomas’s church in Woolton hill was opened on Wednesday 10 October 1849. The church is of thirteenth century design with five bells (a sixth was added in 1930). There were six original windows, a few were added later. The architects who designed the church were Messrs. Wyatt and Brandon. The church is made of flint and bath stone, and it will accomadate 400 people. The church including the chancel measures 87 feet. The carving behind the alter is of The Last Supper.

Parking by the church and you will need your own pen.
As this is a small village may be best avoided during school runs .
