Who: All geocachers and families
What: An afternoon of floating your cares away down a lazy river
When: Thursday, July 18th, 1:30 -5:00 pm
Where: Nashwaak Tubing
Why: It's a good way to relax in an old New Brunswick tradition
Bring your swim wear, and leave your worries behind! Join us for a lazy afternoon of fun and tubing down the Nashwaak River. If you'd like to enjoy the relaxing tube ride, it takes about 3 hours. There is a cost for the tube rentals, please see our event website here for all the important details.
If you don't want to actually float down the river with us, it is not mandatory - we'll have a guest book so we can see where everyone is from and you can wave as we float by!
Bring swimwear, a change of clothes, and secure, waterproof, footwear you can wear in the river (no flipflops please)! If you plan on bringing something to eat or drink on the river, please be sure there is no glass or styrofoam in the packaging! You can bring your own cooler too - there are tubes designed for carrying coolers.
Note that this event is a 1/5, because it's REALLY easy to take part... but you'll need special equipment to float down the river, so it's a terrain 5.
For more information on tubing itself (and the rules for the river), visit our event website.
So come on out, enjoy a relaxing afternoon on one of the province's most beautiful rivers and let your cares just float away. We look forward to relaxing with you all!
