Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the above coordinates, but the final cache is around 1 - 2 mile ride/walk away on good, car free, bicycle friendly, paved surface. The coordinates provided are for a suggested parking spot. The final cache is a green 'lock n lock' - butty box size. The area is popular with dog walkers, cyclists and horses - watch out, muggles about!

This is a 'puzzle offset multi cache' - solving the puzzle will give you coordinates to a container, containing the final cache coordinates. It's all accessible on foot, or (given the theme of the cache, perhaps more appropriately) on road bicycle, at least that is until you get to the last few meters.

The following unusual information of Le Tour might help point you in the right direction

Now

The Eagle of Toledo probably looks back and thinks he had a good YEAR, the first time he appeared in Le Tour De France, particularly for his mountainous achievement°

He probably though back to what IT WAS that made the 1903 Tour De France so important.
He may have of course been thinking about the Internet Tour de France Game 2012 Sprinter rankings (green jersey).

When

in THE YEAR Mr Armstrong won the Tour De France for the third consecutive time, he would not have believe he could be stripped of his winners titles later°

None of this type of controversy would have been around in THE YEAR before the race featured the introduction of the mountains competition though. As far as distance cycling goes, the Tour de France is nothing compared to Thomas Andresen's 40,000 km Cycling Expedition Through 40 Countries Around The World. I wonder if he's aware of the significance of THE DAY he pitched tent at a free camp site site 3 km outside Omarama.
