Geocache Description:


The cache is at the location given and no puzzle needs to be solved to obtain the final coordinates, however in order to qualify for logging the cache there is a challenge to complete.


Your Best Streak must be greater than your Worst Slump.


What this means is that you must have found caches on more consecutive days than the number of consecutive days you have not found a cache.  You should be able to verify this with your geocaching statistics, found either on geocaching.com or any other geostats website. Please note, that I do not mean your current streak, or your current slump, but the longest streak you have had since starting geocaching, and the longest slump since you started geocaching.

Having recently completed this self-imposed challenge myself, I wanted to give others the chance to try the same thing.  It proved to be very difficult at times as I was finding them through the snow, illness and my working week, but it was quite the adventure and I can thoroughly recommend it.  My target to beat was 62, what's yours?

You may have already completed the challenge without trying, in which case, please go ahead and claim the find.  However, if you haven't yet completed the challenge, you may find it quite a tricky one, especially if you have cleared out your local area!  This is a challenge that may be easier for those newer to geocaching than those who have been doing it for a while.

In order to qualify for finding this cache you must do the following:

1. Find a cache on more consecutive days than the number of consecutive days you have not found a cache

2. Prove that you have passed the challenge. As per the new challenge cache guidelines, you must use the Project-gc.com challenge checker which can easily be done by clicking the link below. You must include either a screenshot of the confirmation of you passing the challenge, or include the relevant suggested log section of the page within your log.

The cache itself is an easy find with quick-dash parking right by the cache.  I have given the D/T rating as 3/1.5 to match the potential difficulty of qualifying for finding the cache, but the challenge will be different for everyone! The cache itself is more like a 1.5/1.5 hide. Please be careful when replacing the cache to ensure that it is hidden from view for any muggles.
