Geocache Description:

Wellspring Christian Growth Centre (CGC for short) is located in Upper Saxondale community, a village on the Eastern side of Nottingham in the Borough of Rushcliffe.

Wellspring Church

Upper Saxondale was developed on the site of the formal Saxondale Hospital between 1995 and 2001. The Hospital Chapel, now the Wellspring Christian Growth Centre was originally used for hospital staff and patients.

The chapel was built in a gothic revilval style in 1902 to the designs of E.W. Roberts, the then County Architect..

The cache is a small lock and lock box, and should be reasonably easy to find. Whilst in the area there are a few other caches dotted about and if you have brought the kids there's a new playpark in the village which is worth a visit.

If anybody would like to expand to the Church Micro series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
