Geocache Description:

RUSAŁKA to zasilane przez Bogdankę i Golęcinkę jezioro zaporowe o powierzchni 36,7 ha leżące w Poznaniu, w zachodnim, golęcińskim klinie zieleni.
Jest to jeden z ważnych punktów na rekreacyjnej mapie Poznania.
W "Ogniem i Mieczem" Jerzego Hoffmana jezioro zagrało Dniepr.
W lasach wokół jeziora w 1940 roku hitlerowcy zabili ponad 2000 więźniów z pobliskiego Fortu VII.

Zadanie rozpoczyna się na współrzędnych startowych.

POWODZENIA!

RUSAŁKA is an artificial lake in Poznań with an area of 367000 square meters. It was formed in 1943 as a result of damming of the Bogdanka river.
It's one of the most important recreation venues in Poznań.
It played a role of the Dnieper river in the "Ogniem i Mieczem" movie by Jerzy Hoffman.
In 1940 more than 2000 people were executed in the forests surrounding the lake.
