Auch dieses Jahr findet der World Wide Flash Mob (diesmal die Ausgabe 10) WWFM X statt, mit einer grossen Menge kurzer Events über die ganze Welt verteilt. Das Thema des diesjährigen WWMF ist "May the 4th be with you".
Da aber wohl kaum jemand ein Lichtschwert zu Hause rumliegen hat (und da Geocaching ja auch familienfreundlich sein soll) müssen wir uns für unser Duell wohl etwas anderes ausdenken. Passend zum Ort des Events werden wir deshalb unsere Lichtkarotten einsetzen.
Wann
Der Event findet am Samsatg 4. Mai 2013 um 14.00 statt und dauert 15 Minuten.
Wo
Das Event findet bei den Listingskoordinaten, beim Bärenpark, direkt neben dem alten, grossen Bärengraben statt.
Mitbringen
Bitte unbedingt eine grosse Karotte (Rüebli) mitnehmen!
Ausserdem einen Logzettel (siehe unten)

Besammlung in der Nähe des Eventortes, aber nicht direkt dort. Bitte versucht vor dem Flashmob noch keine grösseren Gruppen zu bilden. Im Listing sind ein paar mögliche Sammelpunkte markiert. |

1. akkustisches Signal ertönt.
Ein Musikstück wird ertönen. Alle stürmen zum Eventplatz, und stellen sich in zwei Reihen auf. Eine Reihe mit dem Rücken zum alten grossen Bärengrabengeländer, die andere Reihe dieser gegenüber mit dem Rücken zur Bushaltestelle, ca. 2m Abstand zwischen den beiden Reihen. Zückt Eure Karotten und streckt Euch diese gegenseitig kampfbereit hin. |

Ihr stürzt Euch mit Euren Karotten auf Euer Gegenüber und beginnt mit Euren Karotten miteinander zu fechten. |

Wir beenden die Gefechte und stellen uns dem Geländer des alten Bärengrabens entlang in einer Reihe nebeneinander und schauen in den Graben. |

Wenn alle am Geländer stehen setzen wir unsere Karotten an und essen diese immer noch in den Graben schauend genüsslich auf. Wir bleiben danach noch dem Geländer entlang stehen. |

Der Flashmob löst sich wieder auf. Wir treffen uns alle beim im Listing markierten "Schwatzort", wo wir noch ein Gruppenfoto machen werden. |
Anreise
Bus Nummer 12 fährt vom Bahnhof Bern in Richtung Zentrum Paul Klee und hält direkt neben dem Eventort (Haltestelle Bärengraben). Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze hat es beim Klösterlistutz.
Log
Bringt bitte vorgefertigte Logzettel mit. Wir werden einen thematisch passenden Behälter bereitstellen, in welchen ihr die Logzettel einwerfen könnt. Stellt bitte sicher, dass auf Eurem Logzettel folgende Information zu finden ist:
- Datum (4.5.2013)
- GC-Code (GC484QJ) und/oder Event-Name
- Euer Cachername
- Anzahl Personen, welche zu Eurem Log gehören
Wenn ihr wollt, könnt ihr auch den vorgefertigten Logzettel ausdrucken und verwenden.

This year, too, the World Wide Flash Mob takes place (this year for the tenth time). A large number of short events all over the world will be part of the WWMF X. This year's topic of the WWMF is "May the 4th be with you".
Since not many will have a light sabre laying around at home (and since Geocaching aims to be family friendly) we'll have to think of some other way to duel. Fitting the location of the event, we'll use light carrots instead.
When
The event takes place on Saturday May 4th 2013 at 14:00 and will last for 15 minutes.
Where
The event takes place at the listing coordinates, at the "Bärenpark", right next to the old, large bear pit.
What to bring
Make sure to bring a large carrot!
Also take along a log note (see below)

Arrival near the event location but not at the location itself. Please avoid forming large groups before the Flashmob. The listing shows a few potential meeting places. |

A theme will be played. Everyone runs to the event location and lines up in two rows. One row with their backs to the fence of the old bear pit, the other row directly across from them with their backs towards the bus stop. Keep about 2m distance between the two rows. Draw your carrots and hold them ready to attack. |

Lunge at your opponent and start dueling with your carrots. |

We'll end our fights and line up along the fence of the old bear pit, all in one row, looking down into the pit. |

When everyone is ready at the fence, we'll start eating our carrots, still looking down into the pit. Afterwards we remain standing along the fence. |

The Flashmob disperses. We will meet a little later at the "post event chat" waypoint marked in the listing to take a group picture. |
Getting there
Bus number 12 in direction of "Zentrum Paul Klee" takes you there from the train station (Bahnhof), get off at the stop "Bärengraben" which is right next to the event location. There are parking spaces at the Klösterlistutz (parking fee applies).
Log
Please bring a prepared log note. We'll provide a suitable container into which the notes can be dropped. Please make sure that the following information is on your log note:
- Date (4.5.2013)
- GC-Code (GC484QJ) and/or name of event
- Your caching nick name
- Number of persons that belong to your log
