A cache far away in the backcountry near some petroglyphs.
We didn't plan initially to place a cache here but after finding the petroglyphs and the small ruin nearby (a bit to the west) we had to place one nearby. This is a long hike (plan on an approximately 15mi roundtrip hike if you start at Spur Cross Ranch) with likely creek crossings and of course the 1000 ft climb in only 1 mi to the top of Skull Mesa. If you come after rains you will also experience the swampland of Skull Mesa (not likely). Cache should be an easy find and the hint is very specific as I really do not want anyone not finding the cache after the exhausting hike
