A 60m au sud de la cache, le quartier du vieux Vichy avec sa petite église Saint-Blaise qui est construite sur la chapelle Saint-Michel du château de Vichy. Lancée en 1672 par l’abbé Claude Mareschal, curé de Saint-Christophe, la construction est achevée le lundi 26 mars 1714 (avec le transfert de la Vierge noire) par son neveu, l’abbé Joseph Mareschal qui y est enterré à son décès le 15 juillet 1725. Sa dalle funéraire, présente dans le chœur, est classée Monument historique, le 30 août 1924. L’église abrite une « Vierge noire » en noyer qui est vénérée pour ses miracles et promenée en procession chaque 15 août, fête patronale avec grand messe sur le parvis du Grand Casino. Une nouvelle église Saint-Blaise de style Art déco est ajoutée en 1931, communiquant (simple rideau rouge) avec cette ancienne église où l’atmosphère de recueillement est surprenante, émouvante. Le sanctuaire qui abrite la Vierge noire miraculeuse de Vichy, appelée Notre-Dame des Malades, est rénové l’été 2007 pour le 70eanniversaire (le 14 octobre 2007) de son couronnement le 27 mai 1937.
A 60m au nord-est de la cache, le quartier thermal avec une sculpture de Carrier-Belleuse (achevée en mai 1865). Cette statue de style néo-grec se trouvait à l’origine en 1865 à l’arrière du Casino, au dos du théâtre, dans une niche de la façade sud du Casino, face à l’actuelle rue de Banville. Après transformation du théâtre en salle de jeux au début du XXesiècle, la Nymphe est déplacée en 1925 dans la Salle de repos de la Source-de-l’hôpital, puis en 1943 à quelques mètres à côté. Elle représente une femme déversant l’eau bienfaisante d’une cruche sur deux petits angelots à ses pieds. Restée à l’air libre, elle est endommagée par les intempéries (le visage de l’angelot de gauche a disparu). En très mauvais état, elle reçoit enfin une verrière de protection en mai 2002

Launched in 1672 by Father Claude Mareschal, parish priest of Saint-Christophe, the construction was completed on Monday March 26, 1714 (with the transfer of the Black Virgin) by his nephew, Father Joseph Mareschal who was buried there upon his death July 15, 1725. Its funerary slab, present in the choir, is classified as a historic monument, August 30, 1924. The church houses a "black Virgin" in walnut who is venerated for her miracles and paraded in procession every August 15, feast patronal with high mass on the forecourt of the Grand Casino. A new Saint-Blaise church in Art Deco style was added in 1931, communicating (simple red curtain) with this old church where the atmosphere of meditation is surprising and moving. The sanctuary which houses the miraculous Black Virgin of Vichy, called Notre-Dame des Malades, was renovated in summer 2007 for the 70th anniversary (October 14, 2007) of her coronation on May 27, 1937.
60m north-east of the cache, the spa district with a sculpture by Carrier-Belleuse (completed in May 1865). This Greek Revival-style statue was originally located in 1865 behind the Casino, behind the theater, in a niche in the southern facade of the Casino, facing what is now rue de Banville. After transforming the theater into a playroom at the beginning of the 20th century, the Nymph was moved in 1925 to the Rest Room at the Source-de-hôpital, then in 1943 a few meters nearby. It represents a woman pouring healing water from a jug onto two little cherubs at her feet. Left in the open, it is damaged by the weather (the face of the left cherub has disappeared). In very poor condition, it finally received a protective glass roof in May 2002
