A simple cache in the quiet village of Black Springs, cache is in a sistema container with small trinkets and a TB
This small and tidy village is about 24 kilometres southwest from Oberon on the Abercrombie Road. It features an old historic cemetery, a community hall and the old stone-built Avoca Catholic Church and Shrine which is set in a beautiful location south of the village. Recreational amenities include tennis courts, recreational grounds, mushroom picking in the forest (when in season), trout fishing and fossicking at Sapphire Bend which is off Riverview Rd in Vulcan State Forest. Black Springs - elevation over 1200m, a popular rest area is just up the road, be careful the CO can spot you from his Balcony!
