The church of St Mary the Virgin is located in the village of Mudford on the edge of the countryside. It is a Grade 1 listed building. The tower is 66 feet high and contains five bells and a clock. The tower was blown down in 1309 and 600 years later was seriously damaged when hit by lightning.

The original church was probably built in the 12th century. The current building is in the perpendicular style and dates from the late 14th century or the early 15th century.

Please rehide carefully thank you.

“If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list”
