The Old Cotton Press at this site is thought to be the oldest still in existence. It is thought to have been built in 1798. It was moved to this site in 1948. Please take a picture of you or your caching crew in front of the Press.
The Florence Visitors and Conventon Center assisted us in obtaining permission from the Smith family to place this cache. If you are traveling along I-95 please stop of at GC46HHZ and see what the Pee Dee has to offer.
