This imposing church stands on a junction facing the A36 Salisbury Ring Road was built between 1892 and 1894 to serve an area which was at that time being developed for housing by the local landowners, the Wyndham family, whose name you may notice is beared by a nearby road and school. The church continues to be popular to this day, and the church hall was built on the site of the parsonage late in the 20th century.
