Bee Prepared Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

jptrashman: Given the long string of DNF's on what should be a relatively straight forward hide, and the fact that I won't be able to check on it for quite a while, I am sadly archiving this one. Hopefully someone else will be able to add a cache back onto this little trail in the future!

Geocache Description:

Short hike on public trail to family friendly cache.

This trail was created as part of a boy scout eagle project I worked on in the mid 1980s.  The boy scout motto is Be Prepared.  Many years later, while hiking on this trail, our son discovered an active bee hive... with his foot.  Therefore the cache name of "Bee Prepared".  The cache is a regular sized tupperware with lots of goodies including an FTF prize of an unactivativated trackable.

The trail head is on Seeger Drive, which is a short dead end street off of Ridgeway Ave, and has street parking.  The trail is a nice out and back loop, but be sure not to cross the stone bridge at the bottom of the loop into private property.  Dog and kid friendly.

Congrats to FindingNaMo for the quick FTF, on Team Trash's first hide!
