A Hat Geo Cache
Hat Geo is a Geocaching group based in Danbury, CT (the Hat City) and was established on 2/18/12. For our 1st anniversary the 4 founders each hid a cache to celebrate. Good luck!
This Geocache is located in the Stanley Lasker Richter Memorial Park along the hiking and nature trails. The Park is open from dawn to dusk, and you can bring your dogs here, but they must stay on the trail with you at all times. In the winter there are cross country skiing trails and plenty of good spots for sledding and ice skating.
Park near the tennis courts at the posted parking coordinates. It is just over a quarter of a mile from here along the yellow and red trail. When the two trails split you can begin your search. You are looking for a small lock and lock container with a logbook and room for some small trade items. There is a pencil inside, but bring your favorite writing untensil just in case. Anything more than a couple inches of snow could make this one much more difficult.
After finding this, you can continue along the red trail for a longer hike and another Geocache not far from here: Golf Quest (GCJB5N).

This is my first hide, so please let me know what you think in your log and keep me updated on the condition so I can maintain it properly.
Edit: I didn't intend for this to be that hard, but I guess I got a little carried away when hiding it. I went to check on it today and adjusted the way it was hidden slightly. The difficulty rating is up a little more and is so for a couple of reasons. I only got up to 18ft accuracy when placing it, so I took a few readings and averaged them together. That will get you within 20 ft of the cache. Also, you can't actually see any part of the container from any angle. You will have to stick your hand in and feel for it. It sounds scarier than it really is, and you may be able to find a tool laying around that will aid you in that matter if you really don't want to risk a limb.
