The Norred Trail is the newest trail in Santa Teresa Park and was opened on May 1, 2007. The trail was named after Buck Norred, whose ranch was the site of many company events and parties and where folks could rent out horses to ride on the nearby trails. This trail basically follows a contour line along the side of the hill, offering many wonderful views.
Park hours are from 8:00am to sunset according to the park map and website. Dogs on leash and bicycles are allowed in all areas of this park, except for the historical area. Street parking, restrooms, and picnic tables are available at the Bernal Gulnac-Joice Ranch entrance.
There is no poison oak in the area of the cache, but there is poison oak along the trails in some parts of the park.
The cache is in a small spice container covered with camo tape. The cache contains a logsheet, cache note, and some small trinkets.
