Church Micro 3316...Wilden
This cache has been placed to bring you to the St Nicholas's Church , Wilden.
This cache is now a magnetic tube. It only contains a log - you are a geocacher, you should have a writing implement!
Please note that the final cache is located outside the churchyard and is NOT accessible from inside the churchyard. Please park carefully in the village.
The church of St Nicholas is an edifice of stone, in the Gothic style, consisting of chancel, nave, south porch and a tower containing 3 bells: there are four monuments, one of which, to a former rector, is dated 1643. The register dates from the year 1545.
To find the location of the final cache, you will need to visit the church to find the following information.
Walking through the churchyard along the full length of the path, there are A 'old style' lampposts.
On the main (south door), the handle is held on by B screws and the escutcheon is held on by C screws.
Please be respectful in the churchyard.
The final cache can be found at NORTH 52° 11.(B-A)(A+B+C)(C-2) WEST 000° 24.(C)(B-C-2)(A+C)
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
While here you may also want to start Norfolk 12's Fallen Warriors GC11ZN2.
Please apply lots of stealth to avoid attracting the attention of nearby properties.
