Nach 10 Jahren Urlaub an diesem herrlichen Plätzchen möchte ich diese Gegend auch anderen Geocachern zeigen.
After 10 years of holiday at this nice place I want to show the location also to other geocachers.
Am Hang der Hohen Salve ist die kleine Siedlung am Lindrainweg ca. 2 km über Hopfgarten im Brixental südseitig gelegen. Sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter kann man hier erholsame Tage verbringen.
In der warmen Jahreszeit wandert man in ca. 3 Stunden zur Kapelle am Gipfel der Hohen Salve (z.B. mittwochs zur Bergandacht um 11 Uhr) oder man nutzt die auch im Sommer in Betrieb befindliche Salvenbahn zu weiteren Wanderungen (z.B. zur Kraftalm, zum Hexenwasser, nach Hochbrixen usw.).
Im Winter schnallt man vor der Haustür die Brettln an und beginnt einen Schitag mit der Fahrt ins Tal, denn die Abfahrt nach Hopfgarten führt hier vorbei. Und wenn am späteren Nachmittag die Schifahrer sich nach unten beeilen, kann man sich ruhig noch Zeit lassen, denn man schwingt von der Piste einfach wieder zum Quartier.
On the hillside of Hohe Salve the small settlement “Lindrainweg” is located southwards about 2 km above Hopfgarten im Brixental. In summer as well as in winter you can spend some restfully days there.
In warm season you can walk up to the chapel on top of Hohe Salve in about 3 hours (e.g. on Wednesday for Morning Prayer at 11 am.) or take a cableway operation also in summer for hiking to other placer (like Kraftalm, Hexenwasser, Hochbrixen etc.).
In winter you put on your ski just in front of the door and start downhill because the skiing slope to Hopfgarten is nearby. In the afternoon, when all other skiers hurry downhill, you can calm down because you end your skiing day just in front of your accommodation.
Meine Familie und ich genießen diese Vorzüge seit 10 Jahren und haben am Biobauernhof von Josef und Manuela Schroll vulgo Erbhof Hinting besonders familienfreundliche Aufnahme gefunden. Solltest Du beim Suchen die Hausleute treffen, grüße sie von mir. (Die Familie weiß von dem Versteck.)
My family enjoys those advantages since 10 years and we have found an excellent apartment at the family friendly biological farmhouse of Josef and Mary Schroll named “Erbhof Hinting”. If you meet them while seeking give my best regards to them. (They are aware of the GC-box.)
Nun zum Versteck: Hier kann man glückliche Kühe sogar im Winter im Freien sehen. Die Dose (Petling) wird von einem großen Tier bewacht, welches sich das ganze Jahr hier befindet und die übrigen Tiere auch im Sommer nicht auf die Hoch- und Niederalm begleitet. Solltest Du etwas ängstlich sein so blicke dem Tier tief in die Augen und hypnotisiere es.
The hiding-place: You can see happy cows also in winter outside. The little box (PET-preform) is guarded by a big animal, which stays in this place all over the year, also at this time when all other animals are on willows. If you are afraid of the animal fix its eyes and hypnotize it.
