Craft & micro beery goodness.
The Mirboo area was settled by timber getters in the late 1870s, now days it is a popular location for scenic drives and nature walks. Mirboo North marks the start of the Grand Ridge Rail Trail and the scenic Grand Ridge Road (Strzelecki Hwy) is also the main street of town. The town provides a central hub for smaller towns in the surrounding district, where primary industries include timber and farming (dairy and potato) as well as other craft industries, such as the one close to GZ.
Every Feburary this location also hosts the annual Beerfest home brewing competition, a weekend long event and the longest running open craft brewing competition in the state (and maybe the country).
The cache is now a key safe which should be hidden from sight but still easy to find.
