Geocache Description:

I Wanna Go Fast! 3
Get your motor running and head out on the track! A great day of fun and excitement! Come on down and race for the championship or run some open class laps with the Go Karts. I Wanna Go Fast! 2 was full of competitive racing, Great fun and memories. All who attended enjoyed the event. Fun for all cachers, If your not into driving a Go Kart you can cheer on your favorite cacher from the stands. If you wanna drive the karts but don't wanna get into the competition of racing for the championship title you can run in the fun open class. For the die hard cacher who want's to prove they are the champion, There will be racing to win the championship. This will consist of several bracket races which will narrow the field down to the final Championship Race. Will Rob of Birdandsquirrell be able to claim the title for the second year in a row? Or perhaps SpeedCity will be able to rebound from the close second place finish. If you weren't able to attend last year, you definitly won't wanna miss it this year! So strap on that helmet! Climb in behind the wheel and strap in tight! When that flag drops it's every cacher for him/her self! Will that Championship Trophy be in your hand at the end?
This event will take place Sunday July 14th 2013 at Lake County Speedway. Gates and logbook will open at 4:30pm. Racing will start at 5pm. Racing will run from 5-8pm. Open racing 5-6, Championship 6-7 and another round of Open 7-8 Speedway provides helmets and safety glasses for use but feel free to bring your own if you have them. As always with caching activities, Cache/Attend/Race at own risk. Track, Track personnel, Event organizers nor other racers will be held responsible for any injury or loss.
Birdandsquirrell and CrazyKC
You must be 54" tall to drive the Go Karts. Intentionally running into other racers is not allowed.

Concession stand will be available for our use during the event.

Plenty of seating and track is handicapped accessible.

Event is open to all cachers.

There are three different catergories for this event.

1) Spectator This is any cacher who attends event but does not wish to drive a Go Kart. (No Money Needed)

2) Open Class This is any cacher who wants to drive a Go Kart but not race for the Championship. ($20-30 per person)

3) Championship Racer

This is any cacher who wants to prove they are the best and have the trophy to prove it. Championship Racer can drive during Open Class times along with compete in bracket races for the Championship. ($25-35 per person)

Number of people driving Go Karts will determine actual cost per person.

I have the track rented for this event and only cachers will be in attendance. Not open to the general public.

I forsee this being my best event yet! So come on out for the best speed caching on a track!
