Geocache Description:

Tomac burying ground is located on the first parcel of land bought by the Town of Greenwich's founders from the Indians in 1640. While there are only around 250 gravestones, it's believed that over 1000 people are buried here, including the original settlers and 30 war veterans. Some call it the most historic site in Greenwich.

The cache, which is not located in the direct vicinity of any gravestones, is in a small tupperware container with enough room for trades and TBs. It is not particularly well hidden so as to respect the grounds of those resting here. Please enter the cemetery through the entrance located toward the right of the cemetery (which is the less obvious of the two entrances) as it will bring you more directly into the GZ.
