About Godalming Station
Godalming railway station is a stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line. The station, which opened in 1859 to replace one on a different site, is situated at the edge of the town of Godalming, England. The previous station was situated on the other side of the river Wey which is now a residential development named Old Station Way

In February 2006 Godalming station was renamed "Shere" for three days while filming took place for The Holiday, a movie starring Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black and Kate Winslet.

The Cache
Easily accessible from the northbound platform when the gate is open, when it isn't then there is a bit of stroll involved. Should not cause too many problems. Try without the hint, it is really not difficult.
A micro which is attached. Please do not attempt to pull the container loose, simply unscrew it. When done, roll the log up and put it in the lid then screw the rest of it back together. I believe is accessible by wheelchair - the byway is a bit bumpy but is paved. Please let me know if I need to remove the wheelchair attribute.
Please tuck it nice and well when replacing and make sure that it cannot be seen from either direction. The previous Sidetracked cache in Godalming was so frequently muggled that the owner, Prosniper, understandably archived it. I met up with him when he pipped me to a FTF recently and he agreed if I could find a place to put another I could take this one over.
