UNE CHAPELLE RUINEE ET UN ORATOIRE SUR LE SAINT ALBAN

Le Saint Alban doit son nom à un chevalier qui, comme ses frères Guiral et Loup, parti en croisade au Moyen Age et revint quelques années plus tard. Irène de Rogue avait promis son coeur au plus valeureux d'entre eux. Mais elle mouru avant leur retour et de chagrin ils devinrent hermites sur chacun des monts qui aujourd'hui portent leur noms. Tous les ans les hermites allumaient de grands feux qui étaient vus depuis la vallée. Les feux disparurent et seule la légende et les monts restèrent. Cette cache vous propose de découvrir le lieu où Alban s'était retiré. Il y reste aussi une chapelle ruinée et un oratoire restauré par un groupe de bénévole de Nant en 1997-1998.

Saint Alban owes his name to a knight who, as his brothers Guiral and Loup, left for crusade to the Middle Ages and returned a few years later. Irène de Rogue had promised his heart to the bravest of them. But she die before their return and of sorrow they became hermites on each of the mounts which today carry them names. Every year hermites switched on big fires which were seen since the valley. Fires disappeared and only the legend and the mounts stayed. This hiding place suggests you discovering the place where Alban had withdrawn. There is also a ruined chapel and an oratory restored by a group of volunteer of Nant there in 1997-1998.
