Geocache Description:

As often is the case in life, here too, are two options. The choice is all yours. You can obtain coordinates of the endpoint through the starting point, and then with your GPS device, instead of a sword, like modern-day knights, locate the box. Or, you can immerse yourself into the Middle Ages at the very beginning, and, following the fairy tale, uncover the whereabouts of the beautiful princess.

In kaj naprej? Torej vse lepo in prav. Kot v pravi zgodbi tudi mora biti. Kajneda?

Once upon a time, there lived a sad Prince. He had it all to his heart’s content. Kind parents, great kingdom, a brisk stallion, hardworking serfs, and a grapevine, giving delicious wine already back in those days. He was short of nothing. Except for a heart beating just for him. There were plenty of maids around him, indeed, but they were all already spoken for by this Knight or the next. As he so sat on his throne sighing, just like every day, Court Jester came hopping. The Prince looked askew at him, for lately even his mischief failed to bring a smile to the Prince’s face. But this time it was different. The Jester had some news. He heard that beyond seven mountains and seven waters, lives a beautiful Princess. Every evening she gently sighs, for beauteous young man, that would steal her heart, just does not seem to be.

The Prince jumped on his stallion that very moment and took way over seventh mountains and seventh waters. Indeed, it is hard to guess, what would have happened to the poor Jester, what kind of torment he would have been put through, had the Prince known, that instead over the Pohorje mountains, his love could be reached also around, by the plain. But his heart made him blind and he leaped over trunks, jumped over peaks, waded through marshlands, and finally came rushing at the foot of the castle. He alighted from his stallion, tied him to a pale, and made a dash at the slope. He plodded along the barely visible trail, treaded along the ridge, branches pounding on his face, startled deer fleeing all around. Finally, he got to the walls, where with the strength of a bear, he made a hole in the wall and found himself at the courtyard. And there…

There he suddenly felt the need to go… somewhere… Long way, abundant meal - he had to go where even King has to go on foot. Luckily enough, he caught sight of a lavatory, sat on the seat, and relieved himself. But before he even managed to do up his zip, he jumped up with a start. He heard an angry voice, all blushed up he wanted to flee, yet stumbled and fell right at the feet of the Queen, mother of the sought-after Princess, instead. As he lay helplessly there on the ground, he cast an eye at the way of the thundering voice of the King, who by now was already roaring. But all his fears went away when, just between the King’s legs, he beheld at the window of the castle wall the sweetest face under the sun. He became deaf and blind for all surrounding him, rushed to the wall, grabbed the wild liana, rising by the wall all the way up to the Princess’ window and beyond. He climbed and climbed and before one could say ‘Jack Robinson’, gave a buss to both cheeks of his treasure.

And then? Well, You know. They lived happily ever after, had a bunch of brats, the Prince cooked, did all the laundry and ironed it, and the Princess had all the fun with various leisure games. All well and good, then. As it should be, in a proper tale. Right?
