Geocache Description:

This is an ever-growing series of North and Central Kansas cemetery geocaches.

Someone keeps taking off with the container - no matter where and how good I hide it. Because I believe this location is significant historically, I am forced to change the type of hide this is. Since there is no longer a "log book" to sign, to claim this find you must do one of two things: 1) take a picture of yourself ("selfie") in front of "The Pioneer" statue, or 2) email me the first and last name of the only woman buried at this location (you'll find it on the plaque below "The Pioneer" statue). DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS IN YOUR LOG CLAIMING THE FIND. Logs that contain the answer to #2 or logs that are marked as a found without proving you have been to the location will be deleted. Find out more about the ORIGINAL boot hill HERE.

With the exceptino of this particular cache, the caches in this series are all micros, so you will need to bring your own writing utensils for logging your find. Except for the occasional barbed wire, these will be family-friendly to retrieve. At times, walking into a cemetery may be required. Some caches are accessible via wheelchair.

Please be aware of extreme Kansas temperatures. During the summer months, keep an eye out for typical hot-weather creatures like snakes, scorpions and spiders. Some roads may be muddy or snowpacked and not able to be traveled on after storms.

Also, use caution and remember to use common sense while searching for the cache. You assume all risks associated with seeking a cache or any other related activity.

As with all cemeteries, please respect the grounds and occupants there. The cache is not on or near graves or gravestones. If a service is going on you can always come back. Take a step back in time and take a stroll through history. Enjoy!

You will need to enter the cemetery for this particular hide.
