You can be a traveler or local cache hunter, but you will appreciate to find this beautiful hidden beach which hasn’t been always accessible to public. The access to the beach is through maori land who made it available for people to visit only few years ago. You will have to contribute small donation which is going to be used to build a new marae on the top of the hill close to the entrance (have some small change ready).
Drive close to the beach and enjoy your day there with a picnic, fishing or just short walk around. Travellers can use the lovely campsite available next to the estuary.
