This is our seventh geocache hide, the most important for Nipomo. The biggest event to ever happen in Nipomo occured in 1936 when Dorthea Lange stopped at a migrant farm worker's camp and took the world famous photo known as "Migrant Mother". A professor from Cal State Fulerton, Mr. Paul Martin Lester, took on a detective role to find the exact location where the photo was taken in Nipomo. This geocache hide is at exactly the location he discovered.
The start for this geocache is the intersection of Teft Street and Oak Glen Avenue. Go North on Oak Glen Avenue just past the Calfire Station. It is on the North side of Oak Glen Avenue.
