The Ashford Green Corridor is a project that works in partnership with local people to enhance riverside urban green spaces in Ashford. It is a haven for people and wildlife, a green space that runs right through the town: the Ashford Green Corridor. The Green Corridor is made up of parks, recreation grounds and other green spaces alongside the rivers that flow through Ashford. More information about the project can be found at (visit link)
This cache is one of a series which will take the cacher to various hidden gems in the Ashford Green Corridor project. Frogs Island is one such. Everyone can see the nearby supermarket and shopping centre. However very few people know of the walks that can be had round Frogs Island. Why not bring a picnic (when the weather allows)
The cache is hidden with the permission of Ashford Borough Council. However, as is the case with all geocaching, looking for this one is done entirely at your own risk. Neither Ashford Borough Council, Groundspeak, nor the cache owner accept any responsibility or liability or any injuries or accidents incurred whilst you are geocaching.
