A traditional cache situated on the beautiful Epsom Common.
Epsom Common is a National Nature Reserve, SSSI and a jewel within the M25. A combination of mixed deciduous woodland and, the increasingly rare, Surrey Heathland. It is a wonderful area to walk and explore, with plenty of nature to enjoy from birdlife, to roe deer to various insects.
A traditional cache in a generously sized lok 'n' store type container.
The cache is situated in a quite area of the Common, off the beaten track, but close enough to a pathway to make it accessible for most. During the summer, the area will be inhabited by cattle, and surrounded by an electric fence. Access is still allowed via the various 'squeezes' located around the perimeter. Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at this time and children are supervised.
Please ensure the cache is closed and 'locked' securely and placed back in exactly the same location. Please make sure it is well hidden from all angles.
The cache is of a suitable size for exchanges and larger sized Travel Bugs etc.
Whilst in the area, why not enjoy a stroll around the almost 1000 acres that make up Epsom and Ashtead Commons and seek the other caches in the hidden around them. Cache placed with kind permission of Epsom Common Rangers and council.
