Geocache Description:



Church Micro 3149…Cosham is my second cache and fitting that it should be adjacent to the family Church. It is a Magnetic Nano cache with just a logbook so please bring your own pen.

THE CACHE IS NOT WITHIN THE GROUNDS OF THE CHURCH.

St Colman's Church is quite a modern Church when compared with others in the local area, it was blessed and opened on the feast of St Colman on 25 November 1928 by Bishop Cotter. St Colman was the Patron Saint of his native diocese of Cloyne and many priests and a great number of people had come from that diocese to live and work in the City of Portsmouth.

I am publishing this one with limited information on the Church, and will add to the cache page as more information is forthcoming from the Parish Secretary or Google and when i have figured out how to add the photo's.

AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED THE CACHE IS NOT WITHIN THE GROUNDS OF THE CHURCH.

Although should you want to visit the Church itself the Service times are listed and the Parishoners Friendly and welcoming.

You will need to be very Stealthy, as this is a cache with lots of muggles around! Especially during service times.

There is parking on the main Havant road and adjacent roads nearby,within an easy walk / dash to the cache. please note some of the roads are Resident permit Holders only. 
 
 
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
