Pont de la Jonction/Viaduc de la Jonction

Ce pont ferroviaire a été construit entre 1941 et 1945 pour relier la gare Cornavin aux ports-francs des Acacias et la gare de triage de La Praille.
Il surplombe la Jonction, lieu où l'Arve se jette dans le Rhône.
Il permet également le passage de piétons reliant ainsi le Bois de la Bâtie au quartier de Saint-Jean.
En 2017, il est rénové dans le cadre des aménagements du CEVA

This railroad bridge was built between 1941 and 1945 to bind the Cornavin station, the free trade zone of the Acacias and the marshalling yard of La Praille.
