Geocache Description:

A series of caches with an "animal" feel, set as a bit of fun in a lovely area.

The first in a series of random animal caches. These caches are designed as a bit of fun, quick park up and grabs. This lovely creature can be found in its native environment, waiting patiently to be found.  Hopefully anything written on the log will still be there for the next cacher to find and this animal hasn't made its way back home!. They have been clocked travelling at 92.5 MPH when on a long journey and can travel upto 700 miles in just one day!. They were a valuable asset to armies during the 2nd World War and are still used today by the French, Swiss, Israeli, Iraqi and Chinese Armies. There are about 4 million of this animal worldwide which are kept and not wild. Bring a pen and be creative with your log comments! **Cache has been placed with kind permission of The National Trust** ****Joint FTF honours goes to Hammer60 and geoff&steph, congratulations!!****
