Venez découvrir la fierté des habitant de Thaon-les-Vosges, avec son théâtre fraîchement rénové, ses activités culturelles et sportives, sa salle ronde avec son dôme vitré... son gala annuel de catch!

Note : vous pourrez faire ce site par la piste cyclable qui longe le Canal de l'Est. / Located by the bycicle path along the "Canal de l'Est" channel.

En 1913, Armand Lederlin, directeur de la Blanchisserie Teinturerie Thaonnaise (usine qui employait alors plusieurs milliers de personnes) et homme au paternalisme avancé, décida de construire un bâtiment qui abriterait le foyer social de la BTT. Celui-ci comportait, à l'époque, un balnéum (bains, douches), le cercle des cadres, une salle à manger, des équipements sportifs (stand de tir, gymnase...), une grande salle de réception dite "salle ronde" et, pensant aux loisirs des ouvriers, un théâtre de vastes dimension, réplique du célèbre Chatelet en plus modeste. L'ensemble du bâtiment, vu du ciel, a l'architecture de la Croix de Lorraine.

In 1913, Armand Lederlin, manager of the “Laundry and Dyeing of Thaon” (factory employing thousands of people at the time) and a very paternalist man, decided to build a structure designed to house the home office of the LDT (BTT in french). This included, at the time, a Balneum (bath, shower), the executives’ society, a dining room, sports equipment (shooting range, gym ...) , a large reception room called "the round room "and, keeping in mind the workers’ leisure, a wide theater, replica of the famous Chatelet in a smaller, more humble version. The whole building, seen from an airplane, has the shape of the Cross of Lorraine (the region's token).
