A log book only is tucked inside with a stick to keep it in place as several previous caches have gone missing. Located on a lovely riverside walk near Victoria Park. The cache name is not directly connected to the cache. See Cache Description

Named as Duck in Distress as we were walking near here a few years ago and there was a duck flapping about in the reeds. He had got caught in fishing line. So Manky Badger removed his trousers, shoes and socks and waded in to help the duck . The ungrateful duck freed itself before he could assist. Placed when the nettles, etc had gone. Please let me know if you think it is unreachable safely when the green stuff grows back. Placed with kind permission from Ashford Borough Council.
