This hide brings you to a small section of a Great Wall. It stretches from Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course to Valley rd, on the southbound side, and from Geduldig Rd, to Eckart St, on the northbound side. I grew up on Valley road and all the neighborhood kids walked this wall.
Up one side and down the other. It was new (40+ years ago) then so it was clear walking.
The easiest way to access GZ is by entering Veterans Memorial Park. It was 90 Acres when we were kids.
Park near the sign and walk through the opening in The Wall.
Take the first trail, on the left. You will come to hole #15, on the Frisbee Golf Course.
Watch out for flying discs. The wall is in disrepair so please be careful. You do not have the move any large rocks.
