A small cache for hikers

Am Fuße des Berges Puig Major, der aufgrund einer militärischen Sperrzone nicht erwandert werden kann, liegt der türkisblaue Trinkwasser-Speichersee Embassament de Cuber. Eingebettet in die Gebirgskulisse der Serra de Tramuntana dient er vor allem der Wasserversorgung für die Hauptstadt Palma. Ausgehend vom Wanderparkplatz an der Ma-10 haben wir den Cache auf der rechten Seeuferseite platziert. Von hier aus könnt Ihr sehr schöne Wandertouren unternehmen. Beispielsweise in Richtung Puig de I' Ofre, Tossals Verds, Soller oder im einfachsten Fall zur Seeumrundung. Am Cache selbst bietet sich ein netter Blick über den See, der allerdings nicht mit dem erstklassigen Panorama vom Gipfel des I' Ofre konkurrieren kann. Zum Loggen bringt bitte einen Stift mit. Auch wenn der Cache von Freunden auf Mallorca gewartet wird, bitten wir Euch sorgsam mit der kleinen Dose umzugehen. Wir wünschen Euch viel Spaß an diesem schönen Fleck Erde. At the ground of the mountain Puig Major, which can not be hiked because of a restricted military zone, is the drinking-water-reservoir Embassament de Cuber located. The lake is surrounded by the mountain scenery and is mainly used for water supply for the capitalcity Palma. We placed the cache on the right lakesite, starting from the trail parking lot beside the Ma-10. If you want, you can start very beautiful hikes from the parking lot. For example in the direction of Puig de I' Ofre, Tossals Verds or Soller. In the easiest case you can make a walk around the lake. From cache-position you have a nice view. But still, you can enjoy the best panorama on top of the I' Ofre mountain. You need a pen to log. The cache is maintained by our friends on Mallorca. Nevertheless we urge you to handle carefully with the cache-box. We wish you a lot of fun in this beautiful ambience. Greatings from drei-dinos.
