This series of caches is located on the Fosdick Preserve, a Newtown Forest Association property. It is approximately a 3 mile hike including the bonus cache, Maleficent. The preserve is open year round but is closed at night. No motorized vehicles; dogs allowed on leashes; hunting is not allowed.
NOTE: Please do NOT remove the princesses from the caches. They are required to find the seventh cache. Please bring your own pen/pencil to sign the log.
This series has eight caches plus one bonus cache:
- First six caches will give you a digit to locate the seventh cache. Please read the write up for the seventh cache so that you know what clue is needed from the first six.
- Seventh cache will contain a simple field puzzle which you need to solve in order to locate the eight and final cache. The field puzzle is simple...no books, internet, etc. are necessary to solve it.
- Eighth cache is Sleeping Beauty, aka Aurora. She is waiting to be woken by a cacher.
- Ninth cache is Maleficent. This is an evil little bonus cache which is not needed to get to the final.
