Borough Green Baptist Church
Borough Green Baptist Church is over 200 years old, dating from 1809 when the church was first founded by eleven people. The building occupies a prominent site in the village at the crossroads between Maidstone Road and the High Street. The plot of land was purchased for £27 10s in 1817, after which the original small chapel was built. Forty years later the building was redesigned and extended to include a front porch, new galleries and a Sunday School room at the rear. Further extensions took place, firstly in 1890 with the construction of an additional upstairs Sunday School room and, much later, in 2002 for the provision of a modern kitchen and toilets.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do so. I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
