Geocache Description:

This will be a small series of caches in these Wild West Winds.

This area was developed after years and years of farming the land. But even prior to that, the land was even more valuable. To the northwest of this site, the land was the establishment of an Indian reservation. We have found many arrowheads and tools as the land has been developed. Rocky River also flows to the west, which is why it was a good site for an Indian reservation. The river also banked many thick cane fields that have been told “that it hid soldiers during wartime until they were ready to attack”. To the northeast of this site once stood the first Medical school in NC that was ran by Dr. Charles Harris. He began a medical school next to his family home so that he could scholar and train future physicians. Years ago, family homes were named. Dr. Harris’ home was named Favoni, which is from Latin word, Favonius, that translates to wild west winds…And then was simplified to Westwinds to name this entrance to business park…. and the start of this series.

To tell you about the cache, would probably give it away. You will need your own writing tool. The container will only have a log. No trackables or trading items.
