Lejupes iela sākas ar pārtikas drošības, dzīvnieku veselības un vides zinātniskais institūtu „BIOR”, tam seko vairākas ar poligrāfiju un tipogrāfiju saistītas ēkas un uzņēmumi, bet vēl tālāk ir apžogota pamesta teritorija. Daži zin teikt, ka tā pieder SEB bankai, citi atceras, ka teritorija šāda bijusi jau sen. Tomēr visi kā viens ir ievērojuši seno un interesanto koku - efejām apaugušu vītolu.
