A micro located alongside the runway of the Malta International Airport.
This cache is located on a popular combined walking and cycling path that leads parallel to the runway. It is frequented by strollers, power walkers and joggers. As an additional bonus you can watch planes starting and landing. You can even stand under the approach path of the planes and watch them rushing over. One of the few possibilities in Malta to have a walk or cycle on a good quality road without being disturbed by cars!
Although the road to Hal-Far runs parallel to the walking path, it is not recommended to stop close to the cache as there are no parking spaces and the cars are often rather fast. Better start the path close to the airport (see waypoint), where there is parking available for plane watchers and walkers. Who is in a hurry can park closer, though. Watch the traffic!
