Hercoga Jēkaba medību pils drupas
The hunting baronial estate of Duke Jacob place

Latviski :
Kurzemes hercogistes laikā 17.gs. hercogs Jēkabs šeit ierīkoja sev medību muižu. Pastāv uzskats, ka hercogs no šejienes sūtījis uz Kurzemi slaidās mastu priedes savu kuģu būvei. Līdz 1. Pasaules karam muižā saimniekoja muižnieki Vīndedži. Zemes reformas laikā muižniekiem zemi atņēma un sadalīja zemniekiem. Pašreiz saglabājusies muižas kalpu - dzinēju māja, ap 350 gadus veca, bet pils vietu iezīmē liels manteļskurstenis.

English :
On the times of Kurzeme dukedom the duke Jacob arranged here a hunting baronial estate. There is an opinion that from here the duke sent thin mast pine trees for his ship building. Until the World War I the house was kept by noblemen Vīndedži. During the land reform the land was took away from noblemen and it was divided between the farmers. At the moment there are left baronial estate farm labourer house almost 350 years old, at now but the place were castle was there are now large fireplace chimney.
