Vängåvan, park i Sundsvalls centrum.
Vängåvan is a park in Sundsvall centre.
Parken Vängåvan anlades i Sundsvall före branden 1888 och skadades i branden. Långt tidigare var det en tjärn som kallades östra tjärnen. Men den växte igen. 1873 donerades marken till kommunen för att bli en park. Därav namnet Vängåvan. Mitt i parken finns fontänen Vängåvan som skapades av konstnären Sofia Gisberg från Sundsvall. Men man ska INTE klättra på fontänen för att leta cachen.
The park Vängåvan was prepared in the late 1800's before the great city fire in Sundsvall 1888. The park was also damaged in the fire. A long time ago there was a small lake in this location. But in 1873 the area was donated to the community to become a park. In the centre of the park there is a fountain also called Vängåvan. The fountain was designed by local artist Sofia Gisberg. But do NOT enter the fountain in search of the cache.
