The nuthatch is a plump small bird and is blue-grey above and whitish below, with chestnut on its sides and under its tail. It has a black stripe along the side of its head on the same line as its black beak. Can be seen mostly in mature woods and established parkland in central and southern England on the sides of tree trunks and undersides of branches. [borrowed from the RSPB website]
The cache is in a small lunchbox-type container, in which the log and stamp are in separate pots. It has been sited within the Dartmoor National Park Authority Guidelines. Dont forget to take an inkpad and some paper or card to take a copy of the stamp - PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP.
THERE IS NO PEN/CIL IN THE CACHE = NO WRITTEN LOG == NO SMILEY!!!!
